GenZs Taking Bold Action

Launch your first paid workshop and confidently enrol your first 3 customers in just 30 days

— even if you're shy

secretly afraid of rejection

or constantly second-guessing yourself

Incase you are meeting me for the first time...

My name is Stephanie Obi, and for the past decade, I have been creating and selling online courses.

But when I created my very first paid workshop, I wasn’t a well-known speaker.
I wasn’t a top coach.
I wasn’t a social media celebrity.

I was simply a 26-year-old girl, running an accessories business alongside my 9-5 job — and starting to feel the call to teach.

At first, I didn’t know if I could really do it.
I was incredibly shy.
I didn’t like being the center of attention.
I was terrified of rejection.

And yet, the call was consistent.
I knew it wasn’t just a good idea — it was God asking me to teach.
So I made a decision: to take bold action despite my fears.

I launched my first paid workshop while still working my 9-5, even though I wasn’t sure if anyone would pay what I was charging —

Here's what has happened since I obeyed the call and took BOLD ACTION

The Back Story

I started my accessories business when I was 18. By the time I started to get the call to teach, I had already run my accessories business for 8 years.

I had a factory, I had employees, I had served thousands of customers all across the world...I was only 26 but I was already a leader.

Here are pictures of some of the items we used to create:

I Packaged my First Paid Workshop

I decided to obey the call and launch my first workshop. I was full of excitement when I launched the workshop but nobody paid. I cried. Then I cleaned my tears… and decided to try again. This first failure showed me something deeper: I didn’t have a knowledge gap — I had a confidence gap.

I had the skill. I knew what to teach, but I was still battling fears about being seen, showing up boldly, and putting myself out there.

I Launched my First Paid Workshop

I started working on my confidence — not just my content. I challenged the fears that held me back, showed up more boldly, and relaunched my workshop.
This time, it worked. I began to get an average of 3–4 people attending my paid workshops every month. That’s how the Ankara Accessories Course was born — and it marked the beginning of my journey as a course creator.

I Launched my First Paid Online Course

As more people found me on social media, many reached out saying they loved what I was teaching — but couldn’t attend my workshops because they lived outside Lagos. That’s what inspired me to launch my first online course and build my first edtech platform, ST Colours A-School. It was my way of making knowledge accessible beyond borders — and it opened my eyes to the power of digital education.

I Started to Win Impact Investment Competitions

As students from around the world took my Ankara Accessories Online Course, they began sharing powerful stories — how they had gained confidence, launched businesses, and started earning from their skills.

I began sharing these impact stories, and soon, I started winning Impact Investment Competitions. The world was beginning to see the potential of digital education — and so was I.

I Launched My First Signature Online Course

As I continued to create and sell my own online courses, something unexpected happened — other subject matter experts began asking me to teach them how I was doing it.

So, I created my first course on online course creation.
My early clients applied what I taught — and began seeing phenomenal results.

One of them made $13,000 in just 60 days. Others shared how the course helped them find their voice, overcome limiting beliefs, grow an audience, build their platforms, and finally launch ideas they had been sitting on for years.

They were doing things they once thought were impossible — and their confidence was rising with every step.

That’s when I knew: this was bigger than me.
I had stepped into a new assignment — helping others turn their knowledge into impact.

This course went on to impact over 500 purpose driven leaders

I Started to Get Featured in the Media

As I continued to share my thought-leadership on social media, the results my clients were getting began to speak for themselves.

Their success stories added credibility to my message — and soon, I started getting featured on credible media platforms.

My work began attracting attention beyond my immediate community, and the message of turning knowledge into impact started to reach a much wider audience.

I published a Bestselling Book and Went on a Book Tour Across 3 Cities

With everything I had learned — and the lives I had seen transformed — I knew it was time to put it all into a book.
So I wrote and published Knowledge is the New Gold, a bold message to help others overcome fear, share what they know, and create impact through online courses.

The book quickly became a bestseller, and I went on a book tour across three cities, meeting readers face-to-face, sharing my story, and reminding people that their knowledge is valuable — and it’s time to stop sitting on it.

From One Course to Industry Platforms

What started as helping clients launch their first online course quickly became something much bigger.

Many of them didn’t stop at one course — they went on to build EdTech platforms that now shape entire industries.

One of my clients, Tobi Otokiti, went on to create ProductDive — a leading platform equipping Product Managers with the tools, knowledge, and community to elevate their skills, lead exceptional teams, and build game-changing tech products.
With a proven curriculum backed by over a decade of experience, ProductDive has trained over 7,500 alumni now working in top tech companies across sectors like health tech, fintech, and edtech.

Another client, Yagazie Eguare, founded GazMadu Education — a platform changing the narrative around the value of African creatives and photographers.
Since 2019, GazMadu Education has empowered over 10,000 photographers through world-class training, business education, and a thriving creative community, all designed to elevate the contribution of African creatives to global standards.

These stories are proof: when bold educators rise, entire industries are transformed.

I got invited to more Speaking Engagements

With increased visibility came invitations to speak on stages that influence industries and shape minds.

I’ve shared my message at high-impact gatherings including:
WIMBIZ Annual Conference, MTN Revv Programme, First Bank’s Entrepreneur Mindset Series, and other influential platforms across Africa.

On every stage, I carried the same mission:
To help purpose-driven leaders boldly multiply what’s already in their hands — and launch platforms that transform lives.

I got more media features

As my clients' results grew, the message behind my work started gaining attention — not just within my community, but on national and international platforms.

I’ve been featured in top media outlets including:
Forbes, Thrive Global, Guardian Woman, Arise TV, Channels TV, Business Day, Vanguard, and more.

Each feature became an opportunity to amplify this truth:

Knowledge is the new gold — and when you share what God has placed inside you, you create freedom for others and build lasting legacy.

Partnered with One of Forbes’ Most Powerful Women in Africa

I boldly pitched my vision to one of Forbes’ Most Powerful Women in Africa — and she said yes.

She entrusted me with the creation of her online course, and that opportunity became a defining moment in my journey.

The course went on to train hundreds of entrepreneurs across Africa, helping them structure their businesses and gain the clarity they needed to grow.

The impact was far-reaching — a true reminder of what’s possible when purpose meets bold action.

I was honoured to be personally invited by a Former Chairman of One of Nigeria’s Leading Banks to support her in Launching her Paid Workshops.

I had the privilege of supporting the Former Chairman of one of Nigeria’s foremost banks in the early stages of a leadership workshop for women.

We hosted it several times before she scaled it into the international program it is today — equipping senior female executives with practical tools to lead confidently, navigate high-level challenges, and build a strong support network of women at the top.
