My name is Stephanie Obiageli Obi.
I’ve been a creative entrepreneur for 21 years.
At 18, I launched my first accessories business.
By 26, I began to feel a divine nudge...it was time to teach.
At the time, I wasn’t a public figure.
I wasn’t active on social media.
I was shy, quiet, and deeply afraid of rejection.
I didn’t want to be seen. I didn’t want the spotlight.
But the call to teach was clear—and it wouldn’t go away.
It wasn’t just a bright idea. It was a divine assignment.
So I made a decision: to take bold action, even though I had some fears.
And that one decision changed everything.
What began as quiet obedience has evolved into a global movement—impacting lives, equipping leaders, and helping visionaries to build training schools, educate thousands at scale, and grow thriving global communities.
Here's a timeline of how my life has evolved over the years.
I started my accessories business when I was 18. By the time I started to get the call to teach, I had already run my accessories business for 8 years.
I had a factory, I had employees, I had served thousands of customers all across the world...I was only 26. I was running this business alongside my 9-5 job in a multi-national beauty company.
Here are pictures of some of the items my brand, ST Colours used to create:

I started to get the call to teach and so I packaged my first workshop. I was full of excitement when I launched the workshop but nobody paid.
I cried. then I cleaned my tears… and decided to try again. This first failure showed me something deeper: I had a confidence gap.
I had the skill. I knew what to teach, but I was still battling fears about being seen, showing up boldly, and putting myself out there.

I started working on my confidence. I challenged the fears that held me back, showed up more boldly, and relaunched my workshop.
This time, it worked. I began to get an average of 3–4 people attending my paid workshops every month. That’s how the Ankara Accessories Course was born — and it marked the beginning of my journey as a course creator.

As more people found me on social media, many reached out saying they loved what I was teaching — but couldn’t attend my workshops because they lived outside Lagos. That’s what inspired me to launch my first online course and build my first EdTech platform, ST Colours A-School. It was my way of making knowledge accessible beyond borders — and it opened my eyes to the power of digital education. I quit my 9-5 and went full time.

As students from around the world took my Ankara Accessories Online Course, they began sharing powerful stories — how they had gained confidence, launched businesses, and started earning from their skills.
I began sharing these impact stories, and soon, I started winning Impact Investment Competitions. The world was beginning to see the potential of digital education — and so was I.

As I continued to create and sell my own online courses, something unexpected happened — other subject matter experts began asking me to teach them how I was doing it.
So, I created my first course on online course creation.
My early clients applied what I taught — and began seeing phenomenal results.
One of them made $13,000 in just 60 days. Others shared how the course helped them find their voice, overcome limiting beliefs, grow an audience, build their platforms, and finally launch ideas they had been sitting on for years.
They were doing things they once thought were impossible — and their confidence was rising with every step.
That’s when I knew: this was bigger than me.
I had stepped into a new assignment — helping others turn their knowledge into impact.
This course went on to train over 500 people.

This was a networking party we held for my clients
As I continued to share my thought-leadership on social media, the results my clients were getting began to speak for themselves.
Their success stories added credibility to my message and soon, I started getting featured on credible media platforms.
My work began attracting attention beyond my immediate community, and the message of turning knowledge into impact started to reach a much wider audience.

With everything I had learned and the lives I had seen transformed — I knew it was time to put it all into a book.
So I wrote and published Knowledge is the New Gold, a bold message to help others overcome fear, share what they know, and create impact through online courses.
The book quickly became a bestseller, and I went on a book tour across three cities, meeting readers face-to-face, sharing my story, and reminding people that their knowledge is valuable — and it’s time to stop sitting on it.

What started as helping clients launch their first online course quickly became something much bigger.
Many didn’t stop at one course—they went on to build digital training platforms that are now shaping their industries.
Tobi Otokiti created ProductDive, a premier platform for Product Managers. Backed by a proven curriculum and over a decade of experience, it has trained more than 7,500 alumni who now lead in top tech companies across health tech, fintech, and edtech.
Yagazie Eguare founded GazMadu Education, a platform shifting the global narrative around African creatives. Since 2019, it has empowered over 10,000 photographers with business training, creative excellence, and community support.

With increased visibility came invitations to speak on stages that influence industries and shape minds.
I’ve shared my message at high-impact gatherings such as the WIMBIZ Annual Conference, MTN Revv Programme, First Bank’s Entrepreneur Mindset Series, and other influential platforms across Africa.
I’ve had the honour of speaking alongside industry legends like Fela Durotoye, Olakunle Soriyan, Lanre Olusola, and Niyi Adesanya, leaders whose voices have shaped nations and inspired generations.
But no matter the room or the spotlight, my mission remains the same:
To help purpose-driven leaders boldly multiply what’s already in their hands—and launch platforms that transform lives.

As my clients’ results multiplied, the message behind my work began gaining attention—first within my community, then across national and international platforms.
I was honored to be featured on the cover of both Guardian Woman and Guardian Life, two influential publications celebrating voices shaping culture and impact. Since then, my story has been spotlighted by major media outlets including Forbes, Thrive Global, Arise TV, Channels TV, Business Day, Vanguard, and more.
Each feature became more than visibility—it became a platform to echo a divine truth:
Knowledge is the new gold—and when you boldly share what God has placed inside you, you unlock freedom for others and build a legacy that lives beyond you.

In 2021, I received the prestigious Beta Gamma Sigma Entrepreneurial Achievement Award, which recognizes individuals who develop, organize, and enhance successful new ventures.

I boldly pitched my vision to one of Forbes’ Most Powerful Women in Africa—and she said yes.
She entrusted me with the creation of her online course, and that opportunity became a defining moment in my journey.
The course went on to train hundreds of entrepreneurs across Africa, equipping them with the clarity and structure they needed to grow.
The impact was far-reaching—a true reminder of what’s possible when purpose meets bold action.

I had the privilege of supporting the Former Chairman of one of Nigeria’s foremost banks in the early stages of a leadership program for women.
We hosted the program several times before she scaled it into the international initiative it is today—equipping senior female executives with practical tools to lead confidently, navigate high-level challenges, and build a strong support network of women at the top.
Together, we also created an online course to extend the program’s reach and impact.
